Carlington’s spirit has always been its people. Imagine Sarah, a single mother who moved here with her two kids last winter. Facing isolation and uncertainty, Sarah found herself struggling to keep up with rising costs and the challenges of a new neighbourhood. The Carlington Community Connection changed everything for her family.

With open arms and warm smiles, our volunteers helped Sarah connect with local resources, find after-school programs for her children, and feel welcome in a place that grew into home. The Carlington Community Connection is more than a charity—it is a lifeline for families like Sarah’s, seniors facing loneliness, and others searching for belonging.
