For my birthday this year, I am fundraising in support of Lupus Canada to help make a difference in the lives of Canadians impacted by this debilitating disease.

 I've chosen this nonprofit organization because of my recent diagnosis of Bullous Lupus, which is a rare autoimmune blistering disorder. 

There is currently no cure for Lupus. 

Living with Lupus is unpredictable and challenging. Everyday is different but I am learning to accept that this is now part of my life. I am hopeful that I can continue to live an adventurous life and not let this define me.
