¡Hola mundo! On November 5th, 2023, I will be running the New York City Marathon. It’s an honor to be running with the Latinos Con Destino team to raise funds for the Hispanic Federation.  This will be my very first marathon and a huge accomplishment for me in my running journey. 

I feel incredibly passionate about the work Hispanic Federation does to empower and uplift Hispanic communities across the United States. As a proud first generation immigrant, I know firsthand the overwhelming challenges of making the US a permanent home. Founded in 1990, HF seeks to empower and advance the Hispanic community, support Hispanic families, and strengthen Latino institutions through work in the areas of education, health, immigration, civic engagement, economic empowerment, and the environment. I run for all my fellow immigrants whose hustle serves their communities and our nation.

¡Hola mundo! El 5 de noviembre de 2023 correré el maratón de la ciudad de Nueva York. Es un honor correr con el equipo de Latinos Con Destino para recaudar fondos para Hispanic Federation. Este será mi primer maratón y un gran logro para mí en mi carrera como corredor.

Siento una pasión increíble por el trabajo que realiza Hispanic Federation para empoderar y elevar a las comunidades hispanas en los Estados Unidos. Como orgullosa inmigrante de primera generación, conozco de primera mano los abrumadores desafíos de hacer de los EE. UU. un hogar permanente. Fundada en 1990, HF busca empoderar y hacer avanzar a la comunidad hispana, apoyar a las familias hispanas y fortalecer las instituciones latinas a través del trabajo en las áreas de educación, salud, inmigración, compromiso cívico, empoderamiento económico y medio ambiente. Corro por todos mis compañeros inmigrantes cuyo ajetreo sirve a sus comunidades y a nuestra nación.
