Bishop Kearney is an amazing community of students from all over Monroe County and beyond. Our diversity is complex with students of various races, religions and socio-economic status. Our day students represent every local school district. Our boarding students represent 17 different states, Canada and Germany. Our international program includes students from China and Russia. Our partnership with Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services brings us students from Thailand, Somalia, Congo, Burma, and Ethiopia, just to name a few.
The 2019 Walk-a-thon will help our school continue to be one of the most diverse in New York State, if not the US. Funds raised will help us purchase classroom supplies, take educational field trips, support our campus greenhouse and other enhancements to the curriculum.
