At just 36 weeks, mom went in to the hospital for a C-section. Leyton was born first and wasn't breathing on his own. A minute later Lawton was born. They both immediately were sent to the NICU at Saint Vincent Hospital. Leyton had a condition called Bradycardia where his heart rate was very low and needed monitored. After 9 days he was sent home with a heart monitor that he wore 24/7 for 8 months to monitor his heart rate. Lawton had difficulty regulating his body temperature and staying warm enough so he was dependent on the giraffe isolette which helped control his temperature. After 11 days he was able to go home with his brother and family. CMN provided the life saving medical equipment that the Marsh twins needed to heal. Today the Marsh boys are in 3rd grade and are phenomenal athletes.
