Story

THANK YOU!

Prospectus Berco would like to thank everyone who supported this years event and everyone who stepped up for inclusion. Prospectus Berco would especially like to thank the event sponsors: First National Bank and M & T Bank, as well as Sweet Street Desserts and E & E Discount Beer Warehouse for their donations and contributions to this years event. We are especially grateful to the Reading Royals for co-hosting the event and for celebrating inclusion with us.

In honor of the 45th Anniversary, Prospectus Berco challenged people to walk, run or roll 45 laps around the arena concourse. Four individuals completed the challenge by completing all 45 laps. Congratulations to Kai Stofka, Jill Faber, Jose Velez-Velez, Maria Jones, Devonte Vigo, and Laura Murga.

Four teams also completed the challenge. Congratulations to the Chris Werner Team, The Yan-Van Squad, The Walkie Talkies, and the Vigo Family Team.

Winners for the day! Jocelyn Vigo won the Jersey Drawing, Devante Vigo won 4 Passes to a future Reading Royals Game for doing the most laps at 55, and Nick Yanuskiewicz won 4 bench warmer passes and hung out with the hockey players before the game.

Finally, Prospectus Berco would like to thank the fundraisers who gathered donations and support from the community. Thank you to Nick Yanuskiewicz, Christian Hunter, Kim McCurdy, Christine Werner, Chris DeAntonio, and the Walkie Talkies. We will continue to accept donations through the event website at prospectusberco.org.

The funds raised from the event benefits Prospectus Berco, a local nonprofit organization that provides innovative community participation, community living, employment opportunities, and family support services that enrich the lives of people with disabilities and their families. We fulfill our mission by engaging and supporting a talented and compassionate workforce; being inclusive; and living the guiding principles of accountability, communication, and trust every day.
