Chronic kidney disease is a worldwide health crisis. Over 2 million people worldwide currently receive dialysis treatment, yet this number only represents 10% of people who actually need treatment to live. Only 20% of patients receiving life-saving treatment live in over 100 developing nations that make up over 50% of the world's population, while the majority of those being treated are located in only five countries - the US, Japan, Germany, Brazil and Italy. It is estimated that the number of cases of kidney failure will increase disproportionately in countries such as India and Bangladesh.
Chronic kidney disease can be treated and Bridge of Life is working to ensure there is increased accessed to dialysis treatment across the globe. Please join us to support our upcoming volunteer medical mission to India and Bangladesh in May to perform onsite clinical assessments as well as deliver educational health training to Bridge of Life's partner clinicians at the Global Hospital in Mt. Abu, India and Sona Bangla Foundation in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Our goal is to improve and enhance the quality of care and improve health outcomes for patients in need of dialysis treatment.
Your support will help thousands of people facing kidney disease during every step of their journey. Please join me, Bridge of Life and our partners across the globe to diagnose, treat, and stop the progression of kidney disease.
Together, we can improve health outcomes and build a healthier world.
