Story
The month of Ramadan is one of the holiest times of the year for over 1 billion people across the globe.
For many, it is filled with joy & celebration, including family gatherings & community activities.
Unfortunately, this is not the case for the whole Muslim world. Hundreds of millions of Muslims live in poverty amid destruction and devastation throughout the holy month, struggling to secure food to break their fast.
This Ramadan, put your compassion into action for the Ummah and help support those in need. Give charity and fulfil one of the most significant acts in the Holy Month!
Prophet Muhammad (saww) said:
O people! One who gives iftaar to a fasting person during this month (Ramadan) will be like one who has freed someone, and his past sins will be forgiven.
Upon hearing this some of the people who were there then asked the Prophet (saww): Not all of us are able to invite those who are fasting? To which he (saww) replied,
Allah gives this reward even if the Iftaar (meal) is a drink of water.
