Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a worldwide health crisis. Over 2 million people worldwide currently receive dialysis treatment, yet this number only represents 10% of people who actually need treatment to live. Only 20% of patients receiving life-saving treatment live in over 100 developing nations that make up over 50% of the world's population, while the majority of those being treated are located in only five countries - the US, Japan, Germany, Brazil and Italy. It is estimated that the number of cases of kidney failure will increase disproportionately in countries like India.
CKD can be treated and Bridge of Life is working to ensure there is increased accessed to dialysis treatment across the globe. Please join us to support our upcoming volunteer medical mission to India in February 2025. Our goal is to educate the new and existing staff members on quality standards processes and procedures to enhance the center's patient treatment care.
Please join me, Bridge of Life and our partners across the globe to diagnose, treat, and stop the progression of kidney disease.
Together, we can improve health outcomes and build a healthier world.
