Story

The MACC Fund and Prayers From Maria are pleased to announce the 2nd annual playing of The Cleveland Ringer on Monday October 16th, 2023 at Westwood Country Club! The Ringer is a 100 Holes of Golf Marathon to raise critical funding for childhood cancer and related blood disorders research.

The name 'The Ringer' is symbolic of a child going through the unthinkable journey of battling cancer. Upon the completion of a successful childhood cancer or blood disorder treatment protocol, children are given the chance to physically 'RING THE BELL', a bell which hangs from the wall in cancer institutes across the country, to signify they have BEAT their cancer or blood disorder!

In it's first year, the Cleveland Ringer and its participants raised $85,000 for childhood cancer and related blood disorders research!

Prayers From Maria is dedicated to funding global research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for the deadliest childhood brain tumors known as gliomas; raising public awareness about gliomas and bringing hope to children and their families who deal with the hardships of this disease.

The MACC Fund is dedicated to finding a CURE for childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing funding for research.

If you'd like to become a participant or make a contribution to research, please contact Mike Bielawski at the MACC Fund at mbielawski@maccfund.org or at 414.339.3366.

*To participate, ALL players MUST be confirmed by Mike Bielawski prior to fundraising*
