Reading Public Library's main library and three branches serve as vital community centers that provide safe, welcoming spaces to people of all ages. In addition to traditional library services, we strive to bring the humanities into our city neighborhoods in various forms and genres.

Our Artists in Residence program bring visual art and poetry into our libraries, where patrons can speak with and work alongside emerging artists. Classes are offered to patrons of all ages and skill levels, often bringing together neighbors who build friendships and support systems. Library spaces are enhanced with poetry exhibits and art installations.

Your contributions will allow us to bring artists into our libraries for the second year. While our actual Celebrity Bartender event takes place on May 17 at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Bew Pub, contributions are encouraged in advance.
