Story
From September 14 - October 14, leading up to the annual C. Shelby Rooks Lecture, Chicago Theological Seminary will be raising money for our Center for the Study of Black Faith and Life (CSBFL). True to its mission, CTS has led a powerful legacy of groundbreaking initiatives and curriculum that have shaped leaders to combat systemic racism.
Since 2007, the CSBFL has inspired religious leaders committed to embodying faithfulness, critical reflection, and social justice by lifting high the African American heritage. Through the CSBFL Degree Concentration, Annual C. Shelby Rooks Lecture Series, and the Black Faith Leader Collective, the CSBFL engages CTS students and the community at large to address the forces of oppression and dehumanization that plague the Black community and the world.
Take a stand for Racial Justice and the liberation of the black community with a gift to the CSBFL today!
