Story

The ABA Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence (CDSV) mobilizes the profession to advocate for gender-based violence survivors and help provide victim safety, offender accountability, and systemic reform. CDSV is a national leader in the field and trains lawyers on trial skills, virtual litigation safety, and access to justice. CDSV provides free resources to lawyers who advocate for victims seeking safety.

"I learned more about the litigation skills I regularly need to use in my work as a Domestic Violence attorney than I have in any other forum ever. I had a hearing last Friday and the training gave me everything I needed to send the other side packing." -- Elizabeth C. Barbour - The Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley

For more than two decades, the Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence has advanced policy initiatives, created resources, and provided training for lawyers who represent survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Your donation will help CDSV improve systems to hold perpetrators accountable and to be safer for survivors.
