DJ Schiulaz was a proud graduate of St. Joseph's College and a beloved member of the student, Greek life, and alumni community. He earned a BA in History in 2010 from the Long Island campus. DJ was a constant light and shining example of positivity in the face of overwhelming obstacles. He had a power to bring people together, help them to appreciate the connections he created, and realize what truly matters most in life. No matter the odds, DJ remained fiercely devoted to those he cared about, and never allowed doubt to hinder his life. DJ was an integral part of student life at SJC Long Island, being an executive in Student Government, an executive of the Campus Activities Board, and a part of the Orientation Team each year. DJ continues to live on and inspire people with his strength and courage, as he would always tell people that he cared about, "You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have."

To pay tribute to DJ, please make a gift to this scholarship as a way to honor his life, and to continue his legacy of being a positive example for others. Help us reach our goal of endowing this meaningful scholarship.
