SAE Baja is a collegiate competition that allows students from all around the world to build a vehicle and compete in a race through rigorous terrain. This project will provide an opportunity for senior mechanical engineering students to design innovative components that will allow the vehicle to adapt to different driving conditions. After the competition, the vehicle will continue to be improved upon by the following mechanical engineering students for years to come. Participating in the SAE Baja event would be a great opportunity for the university and sponsors to be recognized in a global competition.

The completed Baja will be displayed at Dixie Design Day.
