Story

Since 2013, the Douglas M. Woods Hunger Challenge has supported DMARC's work to fight food insecurity in our community.

YOU CAN HELP BY -

1) Making a personal donation to DMARC and your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $20,000.

2) Encouraging your faith community, business or other organization to support the challenge!

3) Spreading the word! Make video and share it on Facebook or other social media and challenge others to make a difference.

About the charity

DMARC is committed to meeting basic human needs in the greater Des Moines community. Today, DMARC fights food insecurity through a network of 14 food pantries, multiple mobile food pantry locations and a home delivery service. DMARC assisted 70,724 unique pantry visitors an 18% increase from FY23.
