The Emporia State Student Foundation is an organization within the ESU Student Ambassador group. Our mission is to enhance knowledge of philanthropy on campus along with raise funds for the Student Foundation Emergency Scholarship Fund. This fund is available to students who are in need of funding to continue their education. Students applying for assistance from this fund have exhausted and utilized all other financial options available to them.

Due to COVID-19, the requests for funding have seen a substantial rise as students are finding themselves in financial crisis more and more. Housing insecurity, food insecurity, decreased work opportunities and wages and/or unforeseen medical bills are leaving more and more students wondering how they will be able to remain in school and continue their education.

In the past we have been able to hold various fundraisers to help fund this scholarship, but due to current restrictions we have been unable to do so, and the need continues to rise, while funding dwindles.

Your support to this fund will allow us to help more students alleviate some of that financial stress and be able to continue their educational journey here at Emporia State University. Your generosity will go directly to the scholarship fund, allowing the Student Foundation to assist more of their peers with their emergent financial needs.
