As we did with our inaugural event 1950 Day in 2018, well celebrate all that is great about Mater Dei while showing our pride and gratitude for the impact MD has had on our lives. We have received a $50,000 challenge grant from Darlene Shiley of the Shiley Foundation who will match EVERY gift received in honor of 1950 Day up to $50,000. All proceeds from 1950 Day benefit need-based financial aid at Mater Dei High School. Over 55% of our students are receiving aid this year. Every gift of every size matters and makes a difference in the lives of our students. Each of us strengthens all of us.
