The UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF) wants to make the words "You have cancer" less scary for the more than 1.9 million people diagnosed with the many forms of this disease in the US each year. We help Make ALL Cancers Less Scary by funding the most promising research initiatives of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC). With teams of researchers, physicians, nurses and health care providers, the JCCC works continuously to discover and deliver more effective, less-toxic ways to detect, treat and prevent all forms of cancer. And we are successful in doing so. Since 2014, basic research and clinical studies conducted at the JCCC have led to 18 FDA approved cancer treatments that are now available to physicians across the country.
