Each fall, the Saint John's community looks forward to the Pioneer Drive - an opportunity for our current students to actively network with their friends, families, neighbors and greater community members to raise money for Financial Aid.

On behalf of our entire Saint John's community, thank you for your support of the Pioneer Drive and in particular, for your support of financial aid. Every chance you purchase will provide need-based financial aid for dozens of students on campus this year. Thank you!

Each $10 chance will be entered into our Opportunity Drawing to win some amazing cash prizes. Additionally, our students benefit as well! For every $120 a student sells, he will be entered into the Half Tuition drawing as well as many prizes over the course of the drive (see below). The winners of the cash prizes and two Half Tuition winners will be pulled and announced during lunch on Friday, November 18, 2022.

ABOUT THE PIONEER DRIVE:

The Saint John's Pioneer Drive overall goal is $130,000.

We are asking every Saint John's student to raise $120.

For some friendly competition, there are many opportunities for students to earn prizes along the way! Classes will compete against each other for an opportunity to win various prizes - with grades 7 and 8 joining forces to compete with freshmen and sophomores, and juniors and seniors competing one another.

Most notably: For every $120 that a student raises, he will be entered into our Half Tuition Drawing - earning him a chance to win a half-year tuition at Saint John's (there will be TWO winners)!

OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADES 7 & 8 (MIDDLE SCHOOL), FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES:

....the first class to reach 80% student participation, by creating their own fundraising page, will receive a FREE Chick-Fil-A Lunch.

...the first class to reach 100% of their goal will receive one class-wide No School Day (date will be determined by the Principal).

OPPORTUNITIES FOR JUNIORS & SENIORS:

...the first class to reach 80% student participation, by creating their own fundraising page, will receive a FREE Chick-Fil-A Lunch.

...the first class to reach 100% of their goal will receive one class-wide No School Day (date will be determined by the Principal).

OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL STUDENTS:

...If we reach our school-wide goal of $130,000, the entire school will receive one school-wide No School Day (date will be determined by the Principal).

...the top weekly fundraiser in each class will receive $50 cash.

...the 2nd place fundraiser in each class will receive $20 on his swipe card.

...the top overall fundraiser in each class at the conclusion of the drive will receive $150 cash.

...the 2nd place overall fundraiser in each class at the conclusion of the drive will receive $50 cash

PARTICIPANT PRIZES

For every $10, entrants will receive one ticket into a drawing for the following prizes: (Example: $10 is one ticket, $50 is five tickets for an opportunity to win the following).

Grand Prize: $10,000

1st Prize: $2,000

2nd Prize: $1,000

3rd Prize: $1,000

4th Prize (two lucky winners): $250

5th Prize (five lucky winners): $100

*Only entrants who are 18 years or older and a MA resident will be entered into the drawing.
