In the past year we have seen unprecedented attacks on abortion rights with the passing and upholding of S.B. 8 in Texas and other states and municipalities prepared to do the same. Right now, we are all waiting with baited breath to find out the future of reproductive rights that were so hard won.

While we, in New York, have protections for these rights because of the Reproductive Health Act others across the country are not so lucky. We must be prepared to fight with and for those folks and to welcome them to our health centers to provide the essential healthcare they cannot otherwise access.

On the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade we ask you to celebrate the uphill battle for safe, legal abortion access. Even though our arms are weary from holding the same signs for years, our voices and our strength have not diminished. For all the generations that have been fighting and for all the generations entering the fight now, we ask you to join us in the uphill battle for our right to abortion and hope you will join us virtually on Thursday, January 20th at 6:00 pm.
