As a secondary education major with a certification in secondary English, Olivia Turner has been supported and mentored by her professors and others across campus from day one. Since enrolling at USC Upstate, Olivia has had the chance to experience so many things that have shaped her growth as a student.

These experiences included overcoming real-world dilemmas that nearly forced Oliva to drop out, but that led her to live the dream of instructing her very first class of pupils as a student-teacher. The outstanding people, resources and programming at the School of Education, Human Performance, and Health have supported Olivia entirely in her quest to become an educator.
