Visit the charity's profileAye Chan was born in Myanmar but moved to a refugee camp in Thailand when he was three years old. He immigrated to Utah in 2016 with his family. "I got into SLCC fall of 2021 with the help of a generous donor. With their financial support, I was able to start my college year and I've had an amazing college experience ever since."
Chan is earning an associate's degree in business and is the club president of the Asian Student Association. "With scholarship help, I was able to focus more on my education and community service," he said. "I'm so appreciative of the help I received."
