The mission of WINGS Program, Inc. is to provide housing, integrated services, education and advocacy to end domestic violence. WINGS Program, Inc.'s vision is to help create a society in which every domestic violence survivor has a voice and the resources to break the cycle of domestic violence.

Story

WINGS is celebrating its 38th Anniversary with WINGS Week of Giving to raise support for Survivor Lifeline, the award-winning program WINGS launched two years ago amid the pandemic.

Survivor Lifeline connects WINGS clients to domestic violence survivor mentors. Since it began, the program's response has been impactful. April Brayton-Flores, WINGS Director of Community Based Services and the Suburban Safe House shares,

WINGS graduates have come forward to serve in our other mentoring programs. Their words would provide inspiration and hope. Feedback from these engagements proved that survivors were benefiting from having a mentor who had lived similar experiences.

Volunteer mentors provided experience, strength, and hope as they have previously walked in their shoes, and the concept for Survivor Lifeline was created.

All donations will be matched up to $15,000 by a foundation.
