Story
Blood Cancer UK has been beating blood cancer since 1960, but in these difficult times with COVID-19, if we want the research to continue, Blood Cancer UK needs all the help we can give. The Glasgow and District Branch had hoped to hold another Walk to Beat Blood Cancer, on Sunday 30th August this year. The annual walk is our main fundraiser and to date has raised approximately £87,500. We are so disappointed that we cannot all get together because of the COVID-19 situation. The safety of all our supporters and volunteers is our number one priority. BUT that does not mean that we cannot all still walk to beat blood cancer! Why not join in by creating your own event, and perhaps link up virtually with friends and family?
Join us on 30th August 2020 and Walk to Beat Blood Cancer! You decide the location and the route - 5km/10Km or however far you can walk. You may decide to walk in your garden, or even in your home. In short, set a target that best suits you!
