Calling all Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

IN HONOR OF OUR ILLUSTRIOUS ALPHA PIS 90TH ANNIVERSARY

Whereas Alpha Pi is the home chapter for Clark Atlanta University, all Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Sorors that are alumnae of Clark College, Atlanta University, or Clark Atlanta University participate in Alpha Pis 90th anniversary and this amazing opportunity to support our university. The goals of this campaign are to:

Celebrate Alpha Pis 90th Anniversary

Hold high the values of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority through Sisterhood, Fellowship, Scholarship and Service.

Support our University by creating a legacy of sustained philanthropic giving. Our goal is $202,000.00 by 2020

This peer to peer campaign allows us to contribute to our university to ensure that it will be a viable institution for years to come. Alumni giving at CAU at 5% which is currently lower than the national average of 15% for Historical Black Colleges and Universities. We can do better and set the standard for alumni giving though personal, peer, line/co-initiate, and matching funds contributions.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

To donate, Sorors are asked to create a profile page under their lines name or year. Share on your social media pages. You are encouraged to ask you friends, family and businesses to assist in supporting our efforts. Each page will list your donors, your running total contributions and your lines totals. The main page will always show the most current overall total.

Contributions may also be mailed to: P.O. Box _____________, Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia 30314.

Lastly, you may also give under one of 11 metro Atlanta graduate chapters of AKA.

If you were not initiated in Alpha Pi, simply create a profile page under Clark College, Atlanta University, or Clark Atlanta University. We would like to know your chapter of initiation and the year.

All contributions are tax deductible. All contributions will go directly to the university of accounting purposes.

NOTE: 90th Gala during 2020 Homecoming tickets will be sold separately. The gala is open to anyone that would like to attend to help celebrate the 90th anniversary and our commitment to service our university. Date to be announced - Friday before homecoming.
