Story
For generations, the small gym has been a place where students learned teamwork, built confidence, celebrated school spirit, and formed lifelong friendships. Today, Andrews Osborne Academy is nearing the completion of long-needed upgrades to this beloved space — and we are just $30,000 away from finishing the project.
We are excited to invite you to be part of The Class of 1975 Legacy Challenge: Finishing the Andrews Gym – Together.
The Opportunity:
Thanks to the generosity of the AOA community, $29,000 was raised at the February 2025 Annual Fundraiser, making possible:
Removal of ceiling tiles
Updated lighting
Painting of the gymnasium
To complete the project, the remaining $30,000 will fund:
Gym floor refurbishment, including the installation of the words “Andrews School Gymnasium” on the floor
New court lining, including basketball courts and two pickleball courts
Improved HVAC system
Adjustable basketball hoops (to better serve Lower School students and community programs, including Junior Hoopers)
Graphics and recognition celebrating the history of the Andrews School Gymnasium and the supporters who made this renovation possible (plaque, photo exhibition, or mural as feasible
New Security Door
When complete, the gym will be a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space supporting physical education, athletics, assemblies, and community gatherings for years to come.
