One Night of Trivia. A Real Impact.
Battle of the Brains is more than a fun night out: it’s a chance to change lives in our community. Like many areas, youth here face anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty. Many people also struggle without stable housing. The YMCA of Greater Moncton meets people where they are and helps them move forward with dignity, compassion, and practical support.
Your donation supports vital programs both for adults and youth:
ReConnect provides street outreach, crisis support, harm reduction supplies, and housing-focused help to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness—meeting them in encampments, shelters, and public spaces and helping them take steps toward stability.
Youth Programs at the YMCA give them a safe, barrier-free place to belong after school, offering free activities, positive role models, and a space where they can feel accepted and valued.
We work to support youth through life’s hardest moments. One young person, unable to attend school for two years due to anxiety, walked back into class with the help of a Y Support Worker, step by step, class by class.
By supporting Battle of the Brains, you’re helping people find safety, belonging, and hope. Your generosity tonight does far more than win trivia, it helps change lives.
Thank you for being part of this.
