Story
REGISTER FOR BEAUTIFICATION DAY 2026 and be part of a truly special alumni experience that brings the Blackburn community together to care for and enhance our campus. This year’s primary project will focus on improvements around Rahme, Blackburn’s Education Building, and the Beaver statue on Stoddard Hill, two beloved campus landmarks, along with additional beautification efforts across campus. In celebration of McKinley House’s 100th anniversary, participants will also take part in special recognition plantings honoring this historic campus residence.
Participants will assist with mulching, painting, planting new foliage, and other campus improvement projects designed to refresh and enhance shared spaces. If you’re unable to attend in person, you can still make an impact by donating to help cover the operational costs of the event.
The Blackburn College Alumni Board is proud to sponsor this on-campus tradition for the eighth consecutive year. Join fellow alumni, students, faculty, and staff on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for a meaningful day of service, connection, and pride in our alma mater.
All participants will receive a Beautification Day t-shirt, along with coffee and donuts to start the morning and lunch following project completion.
