PLEASE JOIN IN THE FUN CREATED BY BAYSTATE HEALTH NURSES TO SUPPORT BAYSTATE HEALTH NURSES! Our 5th Annual Nurses Week 5K event encourages participants to get moving, while providing support for our frontline caregivers.

REGISTRATION IS AN EASY ONLINE PROCESS - create your page and self-donate the $15 fee to participate then share your page with family and friends. Ask them to support your goal to help the nurses at Baystate Health by donating on your page. We suggest a $100 goal but you can change that when you create your page to reflect whatever goal you have in mind.

For your safety and the safety of our community, our 5th annual race is GOING VIRTUAL! The virtual format allows participants to complete the 5K any time before May 16, 2020, wherever it is safe and convenient for you while maintaining social distancing; in your neighborhood, on a nature trail, on your treadmill, or even in your yard. We don't require any specific route, just be safe and have fun with it. You also have the opportunity to connect your Strava app or account to your fundraising page once you register. Strava allows you to track and share your fitness goal and activity!

The 5K run/walk event is a fun, energetic way nurses, their families, friends and the community show support and appreciation for one another. All proceeds benefit the Nursing Scholarship Fund through the Baystate Health Foundation supporting nursing professional development opportunities including scholarships, education and research.

So start your fundraising page, lace up those shoes, keep six feet away from everyone and run or walk to Salute the Heroes!
