Story

The BHS class of 1968 is grateful for the education we received. When we left Bangor we attended Ivy League Colleges, big universities, small colleges, vocational and trade schools as well as the University of Maine. We felt prepared to deal with the many challenges of post high school life. At Bangor High we participated in academic classes as well as a wide variety of extra curricular activities with our dedicated and talented teachers.

Members of our class became lawyers, nurses, doctors, teachers, firefighters, authors, actors, librarians, plumbers and scientists. Fifty-five years after our graduation, we would like to pay it forward with a scholarship to a deserving student to help with tuition to a college, university or vocational school.

As a member of the class of 1968, please consider a donation of $55 to commemorate our 55th reunion. Please give whatever is comfortable to help send a deserving student on to the next phase of their education. No amount is too small. If you'd prefer to give by check, please make your check payable to "Bangor School Department" and write "Class of 1968 Scholarship" in the memo section (very important!), and mail your check to Bangor School Department Business Office, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, ME 04401.

Thank you from,

The Reunion Committee , BHS Class of 1968
