Bishop Luers Boys Basketball is in the midst of an exciting time for our program! In the 2nd year of a buildup with a new coaching staff, we are making great strides on and off the court to make this program successful for the long haul! In just over 1 full calendar year we have provided a tremendous experience for both our current Knight hoopers and our future Knights. Below you will see just a few of the experiences that our Knights have had in the past year.

• Summer Basketball-Our High School boys have played in 50+ games the past 2 summers on the stage of 8 college campuses.

• Future Knights Basketball Camp-Over 120 boys the past 2 summers have participated in out Future Knights Basketball Camp going home with valuable skills, basketballs and Knight T-shirts

• Purchased a Shooting Gun-With donations and fundraising a state of the art shooting machine was purchased for our high school players

• Summer/Fall Workouts-Our High School boys have had the opportunity to improve skills, strength and athleticism with over 75 workouts the past 2 summers and falls.

• 8th Grade Future Knight Shootout-For the first time ever we hosted a 10 team 8th grade shootout. Each team played at least 2 games on the Knight floor and went away with an awesome experience and a T-shirt

• 8th Grade Future Knights Team-For the first time we had an incoming Freshmen team that competed in the Spring Club One League!

• Varsity Christmas Tournament (Kokomo)-This past year our Varsity team competed in the Kokomo Christmas Tournament facing off against future pro Flory Bidunga and Kokomo, South Bend Riley and Columbia City. The team stayed one night and were treated like college athletes!

• Varsity Christmas Tournament (Laporte)-This coming year the Varsity team will play 3 games at the Laporte Christmas Tournament. We will be staying the night and providing meals and a great deal of team bonding!

This is just a small list of some of the highlights of our program in the past year+. We are looking to improve several areas this year by purchasing uniforms, travel suits, backpacks, shooting shirts, a vertimax, expanding our summer game program and video programming.
