FIR Square at BC Women’s Hospital is a program that supports women and their newborn babies that are born with addiction.

FIR stands for 'Families in Recovery'. A program for women who use substances and their newborn babies are born exposed to substances. This is the first program of its kind, in Canada. As a sober mother, I would like to support others mothers struggling with addictions and help their newborn babies get the support they need.
