Story
Deer Lake School counts it a privilege to support students in their desire to serve in actions, not just words. They will head to the Amazon region of Brazil to assist with acts of compassion and service. They will
- Make a tangible impact: Engage in activities like teaching health lessons, painting and cleaning classrooms, hosting vacation Bible school
- Connect with diverse communities: Experience the unique needs and cultures of communities in the Amazon and enjoy the beauty of the rain forest and its birds and animals
- Experience new adventures: Sleep on a river boat and travel up the Amazon River, stopping to assist at local communities
