Buffalo State's Television and Film Arts (TFA) students are looking for your help to undertake the project of a lifetime.

Emmy Award-winning writer/producer and Buffalo State alumnus Tom Fontana, '73, is coming to Buffalo in March 2024 to film "The Wrong Road." It is a rare occasion for a script by Fontana to be produced in WNY. And some big names are currently slated to be a part of this project, including director Metin Hüseyin ("The History of a Foundling: Tom Jones") and actors Lee Tergesen (HBO's "Oz"), Mark Ryder (Netflix's "Borgia"), and Kathryn Erbe ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent").

More importantly, our students will be leading the charge. Current students in the TFA program will lead a production crew of about 50 individuals, including other Buff State students (from programs like communication, theater, and business) and alumni, to shoot "The Wrong Road" with Tom Fontana.

This is an unparalleled learning and networking opportunity for our students. But it comes with a hefty price tag, and we need your help to offer this experience to Buff State students.
