In September 2026, Buzz and his friends Dan and Nathan will take on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds and awareness for Congenital Hyperinsulinism International (CHI).
I'm doing this because I've seen firsthand that people with hyperinsulinism have a mountain to climb every day!
Buzz has already begun training, including a recent trek in Scotland where dangerous –15°C weather cut the climb short — but even harsh conditions haven’t dampened his determination. With Luce cheering him on and sharing photos from the journey, Buzz, Dan, and Nath are pushing forward toward their goal of reaching Africa’s highest peak while helping CHI continue its lifesaving work.
