Story

Shorewood High Schools Buzz with Love is an annual event within the Shorewood Community. Shorewood High School students raise money to support the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer Fund. The students commit to shaving their heads in solidarity with cancer survivors and to raise awareness for the importance of childhood cancer research.

On May 24th, 2022, our buzzies will make the big chop! During lunch, these students will gather and cheer for each other as they first donate their hair to be made into wigs for cancer patients. After school they will come together once again to have hairdressers buzz off their remaining hair. It is a day of excitement and joy for the entire school community!
