Known for our tranquil retreats and holistic therapies, the Aman Spa is more than just a haven for relaxation—it is a force for good.

The Public Health Agency of Canada recently reported that new cases of HIV have increased by 35% in 2023.

Across Canada, CANFAR continues its relentless mission to end the HIV epidemic. Dedicated to funding groundbreaking research and implementing effective community projects, CANFAR understands that solving a crisis of this magnitude requires innovation, collaboration, and unwavering support.

Aman Spa supports CANFAR's mission to enact meaningful change that will lead to a better future for people living with and affected by HIV.

Throughout December, we are asking our patrons to please consider giving generously so that CANFAR can:

Award 7 innovation research grants during Research Cycle 33;

Invest in best practice care models for urban Indigenous people living with HIV through the Dr. Peter Centre;

Increase access to HIV testing for racialized women through rapid and mobile technology at Women’s Health in Women’s Hands Community Health Centre;

Install Our Healthbox machines to distribute HIV self-test kits, sexual health and harm reduction supplies in priority neighbourhoods across Canada;

Continue to fund the rapid testing laboratory at HQ Toronto;

Educate over 2.5 million Canadian youth about HIV and sexual health through Sexfluent.ca digital and in-person programming;

And, work with CATIE, Canada’s source for HIV and Hep C information, on knowledge mobilization efforts alongside African, Caribbean and Black and Indigenous communities.
