Canine Advocates provide advocacy services to child victims utilizing a highly trained dog to help alleviate the anxiety associated with being involved in the criminal justice system. Our 31 dogs are working all across the State of Michigan...and we even have one in Ohio!

In 2022, Canine Advocates joined CARE House of Oakland County, the sole children's advocacy center providing first-rate services to victims of child abuse in Oakland County, MI. CARE House offers an array of programs focused on the identification and treatment of child abuse victims, and on child abuse prevention.

Canine Advocates is joined by the 1 FUR 1 Foundation, whose mission is to help animals heal people by offering funding, strategic insight, logistical support, mentoring and other tools to like-minded 501(c)(3) nonprofits. These organizations are teaming up to raise funds that will help support the 31 Canine Advocates working with kids and families across Michigan and in Ohio!

Our goal is to raise $10,000...

...to purchase essential items for our 31 actively working dogs and to establish a database of information on the impact Canine Advocates have on children.
