Carroll Women's Basketball continues to grow our program both on and off the court. Our friends, family , and fans are able to see the hard work our student-athletes put forth on the court when they attend and watch games, however, many people do not see the hard work and dedication our student-athletes put forth off the court. Over the past two years our program has been committed to building leadership and strengthening mental skills in our young women by hiring a leadership coach that has implemented a program to grow us in these areas. This program also encourages team cohesiveness and communication amongst our student-athletes. Our budget does not account for this program, so every year we need to fundraise to give our student-athletes life skills and the confidence to be comfortable in leadership roles- a skill that will be valuable to them as student -athletes but also after they graduate from Carroll. We are asking monetary donations that will put towards future programing to benefit the full student-athlete experience. Furthermore, our student-athletes have been working hard balancing lifting sessions, skill workouts, practices along with their academics. Due to their busy schedules our program will be investing into healthier snacks for their on-the-go schedules. Our program hopes to continue to build a well rounded and healthy program for our student-athletes to strive, and in turn ask for your support to keep this initiative going.
