The First Tee is a character-building program that impacts over 500 Baltimore City youth by seamlessly integrating life skills curriculum with the game of golf.
The First Tee creates active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that empower kids to be their best in all aspects of their life.
The First Tee operates largely off donations from people like you so please join us in supporting this incredible cause…
• $100 supports 20 rounds of golf for First Tee students through Youth on Course.
• $250 supports one participant to play in the First Tee Metro Tour.
• $500 covers the cost of one coach for 6 classes.
• $1,000 supports facility maintenance costs across our 11 programming locations.
• $2,500 covers the cost of one coach for the year.
• $5,000 provides a set of golf clubs for 15 First Tee students.
First Tee Programs Overview:
On Course: Building character and teaching golf through coaching and mentors at 12 locations
School Programs: First Tee curriculum integrated into public school physical education classes- positively impacting kids through both the game and its inherent ability to improve social-emotional learning skills
Community Programs: Partnerships with Boys and Girls Club to expand access to our life skills development programs and introduce golf using games that are flexible to the ages and abilities of the kids involved.
Scholarship Program: College scholarship program available through the First Tee, Caves Valley Golf Club Foundation and the Chick Evans Scholarship.
Please join us in generously supporting the 70 volunteers, 20 coaches, 5 staff members so that they can lift-up more than 500 Baltimore City kids annually.
