Visit the charity's profileA local retired marine in his 60s started climbing the St. Augustine Lighthouse several years ago for exercise. As a humanitarian at heart and dedicated volunteer at Alpha-Omega Miracle Home the team brainstormed to develop a fundraiser to benefit local homeless mothers, their children and senior women. In 2018 on his 70th Birthday he completed 45 climbs! This entire event was founded by a selfless and true humanitarian who prefers to remain anonymous. All of this would not be possible without the commitment of the St. Augustine Lighthouse and fellow humanitarians who are the change they wish to see to support the AOMH local mission. True community at its finest!
