Story
Happy Giving Tuesday, Coke Scholars and Scholar Friends!
5 PM UPDATE: From anonymous donations and matching gifts to donations made in honor of a Scholar class, we’re beyond grateful for the outpouring of support from this one-of-a-kind community.
We’re thrilled to share that we reached 100% of our fundraising goal, raising more than $39,000 in honor of 39 years of leadership, service, and impact! 🎉
Before Giving Tuesday ends tonight, let’s go above and beyond like Coke Scholars do each and every day. Instead of reaching our goal - let's see how much we can beat it by. 😉 If you haven't joined in the action yet, take a moment to do so before midnight!
In addition to the vast collection of gifts received, earlier this morning we surpassed $10,000 in funds raised, and in turn, we unlocked an additional $10,000 match from 1991 Coke Scholar, Angela Harrell.
Thank you to every Coke Scholar and supporter who has given toward CCSF's Giving Tuesday Campaign; because of you, we're able to

The Cause
For Giving Tuesday, support the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and help us reach our goal of $39,000 to celebrate 39 years of impact across the world.
Our Impact
Since 1986, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation (CCSF) has invested in exceptional high school students who are dedicated to leadership, service, and action that positively impacts others. To date, CCSF has awarded $87 million in scholarships to 7,050 Scholars. Every year, 150 Scholars are selected, and each is awarded a $20,000 scholarship.
Why Our Work Matters
Every year, when students submit their applications for college, financial burden creeps in, becoming a weight placed upon them as they wonder how they’ll pay for school.
When CCSF awards students with a scholarship, we lift that weight, unlocking a future filled with limitless possibilities and fewer hurdles to face.
Each of our Scholars has a different story, but they are all united by one shared trait: their heart to give back to the world. Through the gift of education and leadership development, we cultivate an inclusive network of visionary leaders that are empowered to create positive change in their communities and across the globe.
When I was named a Coca-Cola Scholar, the biggest thing I wanted to do was to make an impact in the world. Today, I have - I'm in the venture capital industry where we raise money to invest in companies. A lot of our industry is male dominated, there aren't a lot of female-led venture capital funds, but I'm one of the few that have done it. I believe that's important because we want to empower other women to create new companies and start their own funds; setting that example is really important. - Tina Hoang-To, 2001 Scholar, Alumni Board Member
How Your Gift Helps
When you support CCSF, your Giving Tuesday gift:
🎓Invests in the lives of new Scholars stepping foot onto a college campus - helping them build valuable personal and professional relationships through events like “Slices for Scholars” and regional Scholar Receptions.
🤝Enhances the resources provided through our enrichment programs, such as Scholars Weekend, First-Year Coaching Program, Leadership Development Institute, and Leadership Summit - each program designed to equip Scholars with the skills needed to maximize mentorship, build community, and uplift others.
👔Strengthens the professional development training and learning resources bestowed to Scholars through virtual “Pro” events - creating the opportunity to learn from fellow Scholars and The Coca-Cola Company representatives about various topics like personal branding, financial wellness, relationship-building, and more.
So, how will you support CCSF on December 2nd? Make a gift to invest in the services that uplift Scholars and their communities, now and for years to come. | #CokeScholarsGive!
