Story

Moving Day Community Walk is coming to La Crosse! You don't want to miss this! Our community is getting together to help raise awareness and funds for the Parkinson's Foundation. This is your chance to speak up about Parkinson's and take action. Your support will help the Parkinson's Foundation advance research, provide educational resources, and fund programs that make life better for people living with Parkinson's disease. -REGISTRATION-

We ask that everyone who plans to attend Community Walk La Crosse, WI please register by clicking the 'START FUNDRAISING' button at the top of this page. There is no registration fee to participate, but a donation is very much appreciated.

-HOW TO PARTICIPATE-

Throw on comfortable clothes, lace up your exercise shoes and join us at Myrick Park on May 6th to join the fun. The event will take place in rain or shine. Check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly. Should conditions warrant any change, we will announce it via this website.

-LOCATION & PARKING-

Community Walk will take place at Myrick Park. Follow the directional signs to the parking area. Free parking is available at Myrick Park.

-EVENT SCHEDULE-

10:00 AM Opening Ceremony

10:15 AM Walk Starts

Immediately Following the Walk:

Community Celebration

- Live Music

- Food Trucks

- Parkinson's Disease Resource Booth

- Exercise Demonstrations

- Kids Corner

-WALK ROUTE-

Community Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities. There will be route options of one mile and three miles available.

-RESTROOMS-

Restrooms will be available at in the Park shelter and surrounding walk area.

-DONATIONS-
