Parkinson's Community Walk is coming to New Lenox! You don't want to miss this! Our community is safely getting together to help raise awareness and funds for the Parkinson's Foundation. This is your chance to speak up about Parkinson's and take action. Your support will help the Parkinson's Foundation advance research, provide educational resources, and fund programs that make life better for people living with Parkinson's disease. Walk Starts: 11:00 AM
-SAFETY INFORMATION-
Our priority is to bring our community together while continuing to keep everyone safe. We are closely following all CDC and Will County Health Department safety guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
-REGISTRATION-
There is no registration fee to participate, but a donation is very much appreciated.
-HOW TO PARTICIPATE-
Throw on comfortable clothes, lace up your exercise shoes and join us at New Lenox Commons on Saturday, October 15, 2022, to join the fun and walk to beat Parkinson's. The event will take place rain or shine. Check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly.
-LOCATION & PARKING-
The event will take place at New Lenox Commons located at 1 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox. Follow the signs to the parking area. Limited, free parking will be available.
-WALK ROUTE-
Parkinson's Community Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities. There are a 1-mile and a 5K walk options.
-DONATIONS-
Cash and check donations will be accepted at the event. If you prefer to make a credit card donation, please click on the Donate button at the top of this website page. You can make checks payable to the Parkinson's Foundation and mail them to:
