Story

The Associate Board of the Chicago Public Library Foundation hosts our first ever Read-A-Thon campaign aimed at engaging readers of all ages from around the countryand worldto participate in an activity that is fun for many of usreading!

Kicking off during National Library Week (April 5) and culminating on the anniversary of National Read-a-thon Day (May 21), this six-week campaign challenges readers to push their reading habits to the limit. Everyone is encouraged to challenge friends and family to see who can read the most while supporting Chicago Public Library in the process! Teams are encouraged---book clubs, corporate teams, and families---are invited to join the fun. Participation includes prizes at all accomplishment levels.
