As our communities and the students at Columbia Stata Community College face challenging times due to COVID 19, so many people have stepped up and made changes in their lifestyles to benefit everyone. Yet there are still students who are struggling daily to make ends meet and continue their education; this did not start with COVID 19 or will it end when COVID 19 leaves us.

We are students in the Service Learning Project Class at Columbia State under the instruction of Meredith McCoy. We want to support other students that may experience a situation that could cause them to not be able to continue their education. We are doing this by raising funds for the student emergency grant established by Dr. Harold S. Pryor, first president of Columbia State, who wanted to help students persevere through challenging times.
