Story
The Cultural Fire Club is raising funds to empower students to participate in cultural burns, support local tribal communities, and grow as the next generation of land stewards.
Cultural burns are more than fire—they’re a living tradition that restores ecosystems, reduces wildfire risk, and preserves Indigenous knowledge 🔥 To safely take part, students need proper equipment, such as hand tools, weather-monitoring instruments, and fire-resistant (NOMEX) gear. These same tools are also used in service work, including preparing firewood for local tribal elders.
Your support helps remove financial barriers so more students can step into this work. Donations will go directly toward essential equipment, ensuring participants are prepared, protected, and able to show up for their communities.
Beyond the field, the club is committed to professional growth. Funds will also help cover training programs, certifications, and travel costs—opening doors for students to build careers in fire management, conservation, and environmental stewardship 🌍
This isn’t just about gear—it’s about access, opportunity, and keeping cultural knowledge alive.
