The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOver the last 7 years, our team has crushed our goal every year thanks to you. Don't believe me? Look at this chart:
We need your support one last time to go out with a bang. If we hit our goal, we will have raised over $425,000 for rare cancer research. Simply incredible.
Both of my parents fought rare cancers. Funding research at the hospital that gave them exceptional care has shown the world that cancer doesn't have the final say.
Why will year 7 be our last team effort? We just have so many other initiatives going on at JDJ that we will take a step back to focus this effort elsewhere.
The Significance of 7. Joe & Donna went on their first date back on Dec 7th, 1979, and the rest is history. Because of that, they always considered 7 to be their lucky number.
My Mom would highlight every 7 on a calendar and had a month counter of how long they were dating. As of March 2023, they would've been dating for 519 months. I think it is only fitting that Year 7 should be our last team led ride.
Thank you for taking the time to read this note and your continued help with JDJ. It really means a lot to me.
PS. We are part of the Cycle for Survival Leader's Circle which is pretty cool.
