We exist to improve the quality of life and care for people with Sturge-Weber syndrome and associated Port Wine Birthmark conditions. We support them with collaborative education and advocacy in tandem with translational research as we promote effective management and awareness.

Story

Daniel Mark Keffer was born on June 28, 1983 and passed peacefully with his mother by his side on May 5, 2015. He was born with Sturge-Weber syndrome which had a profound impact on his life. Please watch the video below to learn more about Danny. His mother Kathy, is determined to help find a cure for Sturge-Weber syndrome and has established the Danny Keffer Memorial Fund so that the Sturge-Weber Foundation can continue to invest in research towards this goal.
